RODOLFO COMERIO is a world-renowned Italian Company, founded in 1878, specialized in designing and manufacturing complete calendering lines for the production of rubberized fabric, rubberized steel cord, rubber sheets and silicone sheets.
Calenders and calendering lines, the flagship of our company, have made our logo stand out in terms of quality and high performance all over the world. However, our range of machinery includes much more diverse and articulated lines and solutions, such as: laminating and embossing lines equipped with our state-of-the-art patented technology for embossing-in-register, winders, unwinders, rotocure, rotogravure printing lines, 2-roll mills, laboratory lines and machines, as well as revamping of existing plants and reconditioning of calender rolls.
RODOLFO COMERIO has successfully PATENTED several innovations dedicated to the tire industry: most of those innovations have been developed to guarantee the most accurate quality of the tires, to reduce the number of operators working on the line thanks to many automatisms on the calendering process and increase the operators’ safety standard.
Speaking of innovations, RODOLFO COMERIO is the first calendering line manufacturer in the world to have won the coveted “Tire Manufacturing Innovation of the Year” award for 2024 for the RC CALENDER QUICK CHANGESystem, the system to quickly change production in a combined line or in a steel cord line. This technology consists in the fast change of the set-up of the machine for the passage from steel to fabric, from fabric to steel or steel to steel with different cords and EPI.
