Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has selected Apollo Tyres’ latest Vredestein Quatrac all-season tires as OE fitment for the new Caddy. Quatrac tires in 205/65R15 99H XL specification will be fitted as standard to selected Caddy models at point of manufacture, at Volkswagen’s production facility in Poznan, Poland.

This is the latest OE supply agreement to be reached between the Volkswagen Group and Apollo Tyres. Late in 2021, the two organizations confirmed a deal to supply Vredestein Ultrac and Sportrac 5 summer tires for the all-new Audi A1 Sportback.

The Quatrac tires chosen for the Caddy meet a range of performance criteria, offering high levels of fuel efficiency (class A); superior handling in wet, snow and dry conditions; as well as affording comfort and a quieter ride. To support Volkswagen Caddy customers in the long term, the Quatrac will also be available on the European replacement market.

“This is another significant endorsement of the quality of Vredestein-brand products and the capabilities of the global Apollo Tyres team,” said Benoit Rivallant, president and CEO at Apollo Tyres Europe. “We are proud to grow our association with the Volkswagen Group, and we remain committed to providing car makers with class-leading tires manufactured to the highest standards and backed with speed of supply and comprehensive customer care.”
