Tire manufacturer Hankook will now sponsor and supply Brazil’s largest motorsport competition, the Stock Car Pro Series, in addition to the Stock Series.

The Stock Series is the entry platform for the Pro Series and under the new agreement Hankook will also provide its motorsport-oriented tires to the FIA-certified Formula 4 Brazil series.

As the exclusive supplier Hankook will equip Stock cars with its Ventus F200 and Z207 tires. The Ventus F200 is a slick tire designed to deliver optimized directional performance and a high level of durability and grip in dry conditions. For wet race circuits, teams will use the Ventus Z207 which benefits from excellent drainage performance to prevent vehicles from aquaplaning.

“Our participation in the Stock Car Pro Series Brazil has a special meaning because we understand what this category means to motorsport fans in Brazil, as well as in the Latin American region,” said Alex Inho Choi, president, Hankook Tire Latin America. “Through this sponsorship, we hope to help nurture the motorsport culture in the region and also use it as a platform to demonstrate the excellence in performance and reliability of our tires.”

“We are very happy with this partnership, since Hankook, in addition to being the main tire manufacturer in the world, is recognized for the quality of its competition products in several top categories of international motorsport,” commented Fernando Julianelli, CEO, category promoter Vicar.
