Tire manufacturer CEAT has announced that Renji Issac has been appointed senior vice president of R&D and technology, replacing Peter Becker. Issac assumed the new role on May 1.

Becker was responsible for quality tire development and implementation in Europe between July 2017 and April 2023, and spearheaded product and brand development while setting new benchmarks. Becker will still be available to the tire maker’s R&D technology and group strategy departments in an advisory capacity, as it implements new European growth targets.

Frank Gilsdorf, general manager of the CEAT European Technical Center (CETC), has taken over responsibility for the European development department, beginning May 1.
