Our Goodyear Innovation Center based in Luxembourg (Colmar-Berg) is currently looking for several team players with strong communication and analytical skills who are looking to join a dynamic business environment. Our QTECH

Engineers will have the following responsibilities and meet the following requirements:

Department: Technical Center Manufacturing * Luxembourg
and QTECH * Europe

Position title: QTECH Engineer

Job responsibilities
 

• •Coordinate with the Product Development and Quality organizations the industrialization of new tire products within the tire manufacturing base to meet the time, quality and cost targets.
• Apply the advance planning principals to identify the manufacturing capability gaps and coordinate the procurement of new technologies.
• Define advanced manufacturing capabilities to meet future tire product requirements.

Education
 

• The candidate must have successfully completed a four or five year
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Languages
 

• Fluency in English and French, both oral and written, is a must.
• Knowledge of German and/or Luxemburgish is an asset.

Experience

 

• A previous experience in a product development & manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
• Experience in Tire Development and/or Tire Manufacturing is a strong asset.

Skills &Qualifications
 

• Knowledge of Engineering mechanics and materials.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 is an asset.
• Applied statistics.
