Pirelli Didcot expands motorsport services

Pirelli is set to expand its Didcot base to cover its other motorsport operations. At present, the site in Central England houses all of Pirelli’s Formula 1 activities, but Pirelli is aiming to create a ‘central focus’ for its Northern European base.
“This is a really exciting initiative for our motorsport business,” said Paul Hembery, Pirelli's motorsport director. “This will allow us to offer a really premium service to all of our many motorsport customers, which we feel will far exceed anything our competitors currently offer.”
As part of this initiative, Pirelli has also appointed Matthew Corby to head up activities at the Didcot site. “I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge at such an exciting time for Pirelli in motorsport,” Corby explained. “I think that the Didcot facility will allow us to continue to grow our business in UK motorsport and improve the already high levels of service that we offer.”
